Nearly lost amidst the excitement over a new MacBook Pro with Retina Display, Apple optimized all of its Mac apps for the amazing new screen. But one of them, Aperture, got a whole lot more than just Retina Display support this week.
Pro-minded photographers got a real treat at Monday's WWDC 2012 keynote in the form of Aperture 3.3, a seemingly minor update to Apple's image app for the Mac. While the big story is that Aperture is now optimized for the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display, there are almost enough changes in the update for Apple to have called it Aperture 4 (if not Aperture 3.5).
Without further ado, letâs take a look at eight reasons the Aperture 3.3 update is worthy of another look. The app is available from the Mac App Store for $79.99 and as always, the update is free for existing users.
