Accidents happen, and when they do occur Googling the solution may mean a trio of folks getting stuck on search results. Why not just go straight to the gang that knows it all? The American Red Cross offers a free First Aid app that offers basic instructions for all the typical first aid scenarios. For instance, if you accidentally burn your hand while cooking, quickly launch the app and learn how to properly cool and bandage yourself. You can also use the app for more major emergencies, like broken bones. The app is also full integrated with 9-1-1 so that you can call an ambulance should the situation worsen.
Many of the instructions come with videos and animations to make it easy for anyone without prior first aid experience to understand what to do in an emergency scenario. The content is all contained within the app, so you can use it while you're out in the wilderness, away from cell reception, and you can take interactive quizzes to help prepare yourself
