The Titan's reduced length makes it an ideal fit for small form factor (SFF) gaming rigs. Nvidia today unleashed its GeForce GTX Titan graphics card, which is supposed to offer nearly the same performance as its dual-GPU GTX 690 (check out our Titan preview). Equally remarkable is that Nvidia was able to shorten the length of the card by an inch, reduce noise output, and keep temperatures in check. Put it all together and you have a potent card destined for SFF systems, a point that wasn't lost on Digital Storm. The boutique system builder today announced the Titan Edition of its Bolt gaming PC. Bolt is already billed as being the world's thinnest gaming PC, and now it has one of the fastest graphics cards on the planet shoved inside. "The Bolt̢۪s unique ventilation system differentiates it from all other small form factor PCs, making it one of the only systems in its class able to handle the powerful GTX Titan," Digital Storm says. "The custom designed chassis features vents near each critical component, large top and rear vents to eliminate any stagnant air inside of the system, and a dedicated air channel created by a slotted side vent to cool the power supply. The design delivers industry leading thermals and ultra-quiet operation."
